Information we collect
Google account information
When you use Bank Feed to Sheets, we collect basic information from your Google Account, such as your email address, to authenticate your account and provide functionality within the add-on.
Plaid integration
Bank Feed to Sheets uses Plaid to connect to your bank accounts and retrieve transaction data. All communication and authentication with your financial institutions occur securely through Plaid. We do not handle or store any bank credentials during this process. Connection metadata provided by Plaid is securely stored to enable continued functionality for your linked bank accounts.
User-generated data
We store information related to your use of the add-on, such as connection metadata, account names and balances, and imported transactions. This data is used solely to provide the add-on's core functionality.
Analytics data
We collect usage analytics to monitor and improve the add-on's reliability, security, and features. These analytics do not include personally identifiable information (PII).
How we use your information
We use the data collected to:
- Authenticate and manage your access to the add-on
- Enable bank account linking and transaction imports to Google Sheets
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
- Monitor app usage to improve functionality and security
- Manage subscription and licensing terms
How we protect your information
We take your data security seriously and implement the following safeguards:
- Secure storage of data with encryption to protect your information.
- Restricted access, ensuring only authorized team members can access stored data.
- Use of Plaid's secure APIs for retrieving bank account and transaction information.
- Read-only bank connections — the add-on cannot move money or initiate any transaction.
Your data is never shared with third parties except as required by law or to fulfill functionality explicitly agreed upon by the user (e.g., bank connections through Plaid). We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your financial data to train machine learning models.
User data deletion
- In-app deletion: You can delete your bank connection and associated transaction data and metadata at any time through the add-on.
- Subscription end: If your subscription ends, stored data associated with your account is deleted within 60 days of the subscription ending.
- User account deletion: Upon deleting your user account with Bank Feed to Sheets, all data, including stored transactions, connection metadata, and analytics events, will be permanently erased.
Rows already written into your spreadsheet are yours — they live in your Google account and are unaffected by any of the above.
Google user data and Limited Use
Bank Feed to Sheets' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The add-on requests only the permissions it needs to function:

| Email address & basic profile | Identifying your account so the right data lands in the right sheet. |
We do not read the contents of your spreadsheet beyond the sheets this add-on creates and maintains.
Third-party services
Plaid
Bank Feed to Sheets integrates with Plaid to link your bank accounts and fetch transaction data.
- Plaid handles all communication and authentication with your financial institutions directly. Bank Feed to Sheets does not process or store any sensitive information shared during this interaction.
- Connection metadata provided by Plaid is securely stored only to enable the add-on's functionality.

Stripe
Bank Feed to Sheets uses Stripe to manage subscriptions and payment processing for users who opt for premium features.
- Stripe securely handles all payment details, and Bank Feed to Sheets does not store any credit card information.

Google Cloud & Firebase
Authentication, data storage, and the backend that runs the add-on are hosted on Google Cloud and Firebase, in the United States.
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This applies to the website only, not to the add-on itself.
- Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard web data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and browser and device type.
- This data is not linked to your Bank Feed to Sheets account, and it contains no bank or transaction information.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be communicated through the add-on or our website. Continued use of the add-on constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
