Information we collect

Google account information

When you use Bank Feed to Sheets, we collect basic information from your Google Account, such as your email address, to authenticate your account and provide functionality within the add-on.

Plaid integration

Bank Feed to Sheets uses Plaid to connect to your bank accounts and retrieve transaction data. All communication and authentication with your financial institutions occur securely through Plaid. We do not handle or store any bank credentials during this process. Connection metadata provided by Plaid is securely stored to enable continued functionality for your linked bank accounts.

User-generated data

We store information related to your use of the add-on, such as connection metadata, account names and balances, and imported transactions. This data is used solely to provide the add-on's core functionality.

Analytics data

We collect usage analytics to monitor and improve the add-on's reliability, security, and features. These analytics do not include personally identifiable information (PII).

User data deletion

Rows already written into your spreadsheet are yours — they live in your Google account and are unaffected by any of the above.

Google user data and Limited Use

Bank Feed to Sheets' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The add-on requests only the permissions it needs to function:

We do not read the contents of your spreadsheet beyond the sheets this add-on creates and maintains.

Third-party services

Bank Feed to Sheets integrates with Plaid to link your bank accounts and fetch transaction data.

Stripe

Bank Feed to Sheets uses Stripe to manage subscriptions and payment processing for users who opt for premium features.

Google Cloud & Firebase

Authentication, data storage, and the backend that runs the add-on are hosted on Google Cloud and Firebase, in the United States.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This applies to the website only, not to the add-on itself.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be communicated through the add-on or our website. Continued use of the add-on constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
